Reading at Home Program
History
The Reading At Home Program is one of the country's oldest and most popular magazine plans. NCS independent agents and other fundraising companies credit our school plan with enabling them to maintain an on-going and profitable business in their territories.
National Community Services, Inc. (NCS) was founded in 1971 to develop quality fundraising programs for school and civic organizations. In 1977, NCS developed its own school plan . . . the Reading at Home Program.
Mission
National Community Services, Inc. (NCS) is dedicated to assisting educational and charitable organizations, fundraising companies, and independent agents in achieving their fundraising goals.
- Reading at Home benefits the school by providing a community service.
- Reading at Home benefits the sales rep by helping establish a base of business that is easy to repeat. A high percentage of sponsors sign up for the following year when the program is completed.
